    2026-2027 Course Catalog

Our Professional School Counselors will visit English classes during the week of January 26th, 2026 to provide an overview of the registration process, and completed registration sheets will be collected the following week, starting February 3rd.

We invite you to join us for our Registration Preview Night on January 28th, 2025 from 5-6 PM in the Commons at Murray High. This is a fantastic opportunity for you and your student to meet with teachers, explore class options, learn about college-level courses, and discover career pathways. Additionally, various clubs will be present to share how students can get involved at Murray High. We encourage all current 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th graders to attend.

  • Course Change Guidelines

Schedule Changes Will Be for the First Four Days of the Semester only.

Below are instances for a schedule change:

    1. Student is placed in the wrong course

    2. Student requires change from an honors course to a regular course

    3. Student is missing needed class for credit to graduate

    4. Student is missing one or more classes in their schedule when the new semester begins

    5. Student may request parent release or to be a student aide if criteria is met

  • Concurrent Enrollment

Concurrent enrollment is a great way to earn college credit while you are in high school. Please keep in mind that these are collge-level classes that will require extra time and effort to complete. No college credit will be earned for any grade below a C in a concurrent enrollment class. While you may withdraw from or drop SLCC classes at certain points in the semester, receiving a withdrawn rade on a college transcript may have an adverse effect on financial aid eligibility.

Students can choose from a wide variety of concurrent enrollment classes taught in-person at MHS or online, and can earn an official general education certification of completion while at Murray High School (see the common general education requirements taught at MHS).

Parents, please visit the following page to learn more about protocols regarding concurren enrollment classes taught at SLCC campuses: Concurrent On-Campus.

  • Credit Recovery Information
